Winter Break Recap: Tuesday

Tuesday 12/27/2011
We played with our Christmas toys non-stop for two whole days.  By then it was time to get out of the house!  Matt had to go into the office for a couple of hours so we went into Atlanta with him and had him drop us off at the Children's Museum.
I was afraid they might be too old for the Children's Museum but after our initial walk-through and them not liking anything they finally relaxed and enjoyed themselves.

They really started having fun when they found a friend to play with.  This girl they befriended was quite a character.  She was playing the cashier at the store exhibit and when two other kids pretended to rob her (hey...this is Atlanta) she grabbed a pretend baguette, jumped over the counter and chased them down giving them a southern mouthful the whole time.  I'm thinking she's heard her Mama talk that way?  Lauren thought this was absolutely hilarious.

Sadly this may be our last visit to the Children's Museum. (sniff)  I'd recommend it for 2-6 year olds.  7 and older will enjoy only a small part of it and I don't believe the $12.50 per person entrance fee is worth it for the older kids.
