Tyler was infatuated with PaPa's beard. He would mention it about 3 or 4 times a day. "You have a mustache...ha ha ha ha ha ha."
A quick funny story:
MeMa was getting ready up stairs and yelled down to PaPa, "Wayne, can you come upstairs for a minute?" PaPa didn't answer quick enough so Lauren was sure to tell him, "Wayne, your Mom wants you to come upstairs." I was cracking up.
On Friday Lauren had her Easter party at school. MeMa got to come along while Matt and his Dad worked on the basement shower. Since it had down poured the day before, the school playground was too wet for the egg hunt. It was held in a classroom instead.
Here they come with their milk-jug Easter baskets.
All the eggs had a number written on them and the kids had to find the eggs with their designated number. Although this made sure each child got an equal number of eggs, it made the egg hunt last Way Too Long.
Lauren with her loot.
Lauren was the last one to finish all her food. She is quite the lady and eats very SLOWLY.

Saturday we left the kids with our wonderful neighbor Miss Maria and took a short little trip to Savannah, GA and then to Augusta, GA to watch the Master's Practice Rounds. This was the first time we ever left the kids over night with anyone who wasn't family. Miss Maria is a Godsend and understands how hard it is to be far away from family. We've come to rely on each other to give each other an occasional break.

We bought the $1 tickets and instead of watching the game from the nosebleeds we just sat at the restaurant

In Savannah we stayed at a vacation home of one of Matt's co-workers. It was an old little house with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and was not too far from the historic district. It was Perfect! In Savannah we took the obligatory walk along River Street and City Market and ate and drank our way through. We also ventured over to Tybee Island and toured Fort Pulaski. If you want to learn more about it just click the link. Since this post is long enough I'm not going to describe it other than by the following pictures. It was very cool to see and learn about though.
the fort was surrounded by a moat
On Monday we left Savannah and headed northwest to Augusta to watch the some of the Master's play a little golf. The course is BEAUTIFUL. On TV you just can't tell how big it is and how many spectators/patrons are there. I really had no idea!
we didn't see Tiger on Monday (he practiced on Sunday) but we did see...
an old guy
a British guy
the guy who won the tournament last year and lots of guys who had some good looking tushies.
I didn't feel it would be appropriate to take a "tushy pinching" picture at the golf club.
we also saw a bridge, however I forget which one it was
somewhere in Amen corner
It was fun and beautiful and a great experience. I'll be much more interested in watching the Master's on TV now.
We got home from Augusta to find the kids all happy and healthy. Maria said there were absolutely no problems and she enjoyed having them.
The last day of MeMa and PaPa's visit was spent relaxing and just hanging out. We all had a lot of fun during their visit and really hope they will be able to come see us again soon.
Now that they are gone the house seems empty. Except for right this moment. We have Lea over playing with the kids and they are having a snack of organic cheese puffs. (I'm positive that because they are organic they are good for them...right???)
