Guess who did not go to school today?
Yep, my "good-health challenged" daughter.
She was up all night with the vomits.
I called the Doc this morning and he said it was a virus.
(I could have told him that since she is still taking antibiotics!!)

Although he felt fine, Tyler thought he needed his own blanket while he played with Legos.
Lauren steadily improved all day but I'll still keep her out of school tomorrow to follow the 24-hour-fever-free rule they have.
She had her whole sick station set up.
**pillow, blankets, baby Sam, Cat Baby, sippy cup of home-made pedialyte, lotion, Leapster computer, ziploc bag of sight words, paper towels to wipe her mouth and just out of sight is the puke bucket**

Tyler played outside very briefly this morning. He is pointing to the frozen water on the chair. He probably lasted 15 minutes.
It was a mellow day. When Matt got home from work I did the weekly grocery shopping. It's been go go go since then. Now I'm about ready to settle down and watch today's exciting TIVO'd episode of General Hospital. (Did Sonny kill his own son?!)
PS. In the middle of typing out this post I heard Lauren gag and vomit upstairs. (in the back of my mind I knew I shouldn't have let her eat the chicken, rice and tomatoes we had for dinner) Looks like it's going to be another interesting night. Except earlier today I picked up a prescription for Phenergan for her nausea and vomiting. Hopefully the medicine does its thing. Poor girl.

You've been one busy blogger, despite the illnesses running rampant in your house. Kindergarten sure has been tough on Lauren germ wise.
Oh well, Just a few more months to go til summer sunshine, swimming, and no more vomit!!
