Weekly Menu (a couple of days late)

(all recipes from my BH&G Eat Well, Lose Weight cookbook)

Tuesday: Greek Pita Pizza & spinach salad (see pic below)
Wednesday: Broccoli Spinach Lasagna & salad (see pic below)
Thursday: dinner at Maxwell's (with our friend Jason from Mobile, AL)
Friday: Adobo-Lemon Chicken & fresh veggies
Saturday: Couscous Cakes with salsa & chips & fruit
Sunday: Apple Mushroom Pork Chops & Tomato and Sweet Pepper Salad
Monday: Pasta with Mushrooms and Spinach & fruit or bread
Tuesday: Pressed Ham Sandwiches with Balsamic Mayo & baked potato wedges

Last night we enjoyed the Fall temperatures. Matt and the kiddos played outside while I made dinner. Tyler and Daddy took cover while Emma and Lauren attacked them with squirt bottles. Isn't Matt just the funnest (dare I say Best) Dad ever?!!


I'm really looking forward to Maxwell's tonight. I took advantage of a restaurant.com 80% off sale and ordered a $25 gift cert. to Maxwell's for $2. It's been burning a hole in my pocket ever since and Jason's visit gives us the perfect excuse to use it. The kids are playing at Lea's house for the evening. (Thank you Maria!) This way the kids AND the adults will both enjoy themselves.
