Some Days You Gotta Dance

Today was Miss Christi's day with all the kids. She has four, add two of mine, and one little Lea and you have yourself a fun? day...(well I did at least.) Last I heard everyone survived and Lauren and Tyler said they had a great time. Lauren watched a movie where "the bad lady got baked in a cake" and Tyler said he didn't argue or fight at all. Keep up the good work kiddos...now I just need to find out from Christi how it really went.

This afternoon Lauren had her last dance class of the year. Her recital is this coming Sunday and since I'm not allowed to take pictures or video at the event I recorded her and her class performing it today. So go ahead and "loosen up those chains and dance."

(Well I tried to upload the video but after 2 1/2 hours it said there was an error. Might be the camera might be the computer but is probably both...lets throw in a little user error too. I guess you'll just have to wait until I buy the dvd.)
Here's a picture instead:

Matt update:
Matt finally saw the heart doctor today. After he had some abnormal EKGs in the hospital...see here and here...the Drs requested he see a cardiologist to make sure there isn't anything going on with his heart. He just chatted with the Dr. today and they scheduled a stress test for the future but the Doc really doesn't think anything is wrong. He thinks the abnormal EKGs were all due to the infection/sepsis.

Matt update #2:
My poor husband revisited his (getting to be) good friends at the Skin Cancer clinic. We noticed another suspicious spot (making this 4 now??) on the top of his head and they biopsied it. Both Matt and Doc suspect it to be basal cell carcinoma but tests will officially tell. If it is than my poor poor husband will have to have Mohs surgery (again) right before we leave for our 3 week vacation back home. Big Time Bummer.

Now go put on some sunscreen!

  1. Bummer, Matt..You will be in thoughts and prayers, as you get this new spot taken care of. PLEASE keep the hats and sunscreen on everyone esp. the little ones, they may be disposed to this too. Love to all
