it's time for SOCCER

I signed Tyler up for SOCCER today. He will play on the same team as his friend Ian (Dave and Susan's son.) We also went to Dick's Sporting Goods today to buy him everything he needed. I made sure to enter the receipt into Quicken before Matt even saw it. He just might have shizz'd a brick.
I bought Tyler a #3 Soccer Ball, XS Umbro soccer shorts, XS shin guard socks, size 11Y Nike soccer cleats, and a soccer bag to keep all his stuff together. He was in soccer heaven!
At home he showed me his soccer ball maybe 50 times or so...
He posed with his cleats on and the Adidas soccer ball while waiting for Daddy to get home from work.
When Daddy got home he was out the door and showing off some mad rookie soccer skillz.
wait Tyler...you forgot the soccer ball...
T wouldn't let Lauren use his soccer ball but she did get some action shots in with her Barbie Bouncy Ball.
And he's off again.
Lessons will start in the next 2 to 3 weeks depending on this stubborn rain we've been having. I'm very excited to see how he does.
and Apple-Mushroom Pork Chops. (I'm not finding an on-line recipe of this.)
Pork chops seasoned with sage, salt and pepper, cooked and then served with portobello mushroom caps and sliced apples simmered in chicken broth and maple syrup. YUMMERS.

And now kids are in bed, Matt & friends are in the basement prepping for the poker game and I am trying to decide if I should finish up some things that need to be done or catch up on some TIVO. hmmmm.
